ReplyDeleteTry using real Cinnamon in your recipe and reduce on the sugar. You could also avoid the toxic effects of Coumarin in Cassia.

Yes, a.decker, amazing scones - no idea how the little packets of cinnamon were suspended in the pastry like that - slightly caramelized. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon, no, I didn't bake them. In Canada I think cinnamon is cinnamon, which isn't toxic. Thanks for your concern!
