My 86 year old mother who broke her hip on the weekend is doing fine after her operation. The fractured bone only required a pin, which was good. Thank you all for your kindnesses and support.

    Thanks, Sky. They should be moving her to rehab for 6 weeks or so soon.

    I am so sorry to hear you've sacroiliac inflammation, oh my that must be painful! How do you garden with it? Needing to bend so often. Oh, Sky, I just can't imagine.

    Surgery? And more ahead. My thoughts are with you, and hoping things ease up, heal.
