Almost done! Two more pieces, I think. Then letting it grow through editing and drafts, rhizomatically.
Only about 17,000 words and perhaps 60 pages, and most of you haven't a clue what's been going on I'm sure, but I am drawing it to a close.
Who knows if it'll be back to regular programming or not at Rubies in Crystal?
Life is so different now.

Intriguing! I wait for more....
ReplyDeleteIndeed, how intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to print the whole thing out and read it slowly - look forward to that.
I do hope you'll be back in some form after it's finished, though. I miss your drawings and paintings. I know, that is so annoying :-) A long-time commenter just emailed me that he wasn't interested in reading my 'novel', but missed the kind of post I 'always do'. I hope you'll be back in some form, whatever it is.
And that life is exciting. And good.
I just "discovered" you a week ago; I will miss you if you decide to go away.
ReplyDeleteThanks, e_journeys...
ReplyDeleteJean, thank you so much for your novel-in-progress today - I love it! No, I'm not thinking of not posting, but with all this metaphorical posting, which has been quite a different experience, it might be hard to go back to straight lifewriting. I have no intention of not posting, though! I don't get home from my current job assignment (after walking the dog) until about 8pm, too tired to paint, alas... and morning rolls around too quickly. Writing I have managed to fit into this job, but time & energy aren't allowing all-nighters for painting.
Bruce, I love your photography, and your journal is so probing, and honest, and beautifully written that I wonder if it's possible to subscribe to it? I'm honoured to have you visiting Rubies in Crystal...
