Morning Pages...

Once it appeared in the world, there was a difference.

Things weren't the same afterwards.

What was puzzling was that no-one noticed when it happened. Life went on.

But everything had changed utterly.

  1. Beautiful. I love your morning pages, what you write when you're just in the present, stream of consciousness.

Thank you for what you wrote on my blog. Sometimes your words feel like being showered with hugs and kisses - I want to say, stop, stop, that's enough, lighten up, but it isn't too much, really, not at all.

  2. Jean, you ought to be 'showered with hugs and kisses' - it musn't be easy at times. We all ought to be similarly showered, don't you think? :)

Yah, well, oh, sigh, the 'morning pages,' so far and 3 tiny entries, but hopes for future mornings...

I had originally thought it could be a notebook to draw on in other writing rather than the words in the notebook being the writing itself.

Thank you. I do love it when you drop by with your gracious, heart-felt, supportive comments.

  3. Hi Brenda, I love your poetic morning pages. I write morning pages too, but they are more like scribbles of thought than anything coherent.

I wanted to tell you "thank you" for your sweet comments to my blog. Sometimes I wonder if I should open my feelings about my work, or just keep my thoughts tucked away. It's silly, but hard for me to expose my heartfelt feelings, even in such an anonymous medium as a blog...so I appreciate you voicing your opinion about the work I thought was bad.
